Guys,
I've just passed the 30k kms milestone and should give my car the second service check.
I don't want to go to my dealer since the guys there always have a bad attitude; moreover, I have a friend with a garage that is way cheaper and a good mechanic.
The only problem is that he never worked on a mustang (mine is the only one in my 100k inhabitants town) and he is a bit scared.. I reassured that it is only a ford so "think at it as a fiesta with steroids!" :D

Do someone of you guys know the check list for this service? Oil change, oil filter change, air filter change (thus I have a K&N washable filter), probably a\c filter change...

Actually I haven't checked in the manual, don't know if it is written somewhere!

I'd change everything you've mentioned. Also check if all fluids are still level. You shouldn't worry about coolant yet. Although Ford only does it every 60K, I'd personally change plugs sooner too. The OEM ones seem to be pretty strong, So unless you're planning on tuning it I'd just stay with new OEM plugs. Makes the car happy :) In case you'd do the plugs; they have to be gapped to 0.030" (the oem ones at least) and torqued to 10ftlbs.

So basically all they replace at 15k is the engine oil + filter and at 30k the engine oil + filter plus the interior filter. The rest is just checking the obvious.

Btw the mechanic at my dealership had to look up on youtube where the interior filter was positioned and how to replace it.

So that'll be 330 euro please.

I'm back from my friend's garage! He didn't find the interior filter from his supplier so I have to check by myself online and then he will happily change for me.
Other than that, while he replaced engine oil + oil filter I "checked the obvious" on the underside and all is ok.

Total: 75 eur

My previous check at the dealer, at 15k kms, with only engine oil and oil filter was 231 eur.
:ninja:

Eric, 330 eur is insane!

Everything in Switzerland is rediculously expensive compared to the rest of Europe. It might actually make sense for you to drive to Austria or Germany to get your car serviced.
