Waxing Vinyl Stripes

I have Big Worm Graphix matte stripes on my car. Used the spray wax and it does not protect the vinyl well enough. I have water spots that just won't come out and I have tried everything. I should have put a coat of wax on them from the start.

Did that after trying just about every vinyl cleaner and home remedy to try and clean them. BW Graphix recommended trying heat like a hair dryer or gently using a paint removal gun. That didn't work either.
