Occasionally when doing a 3rd gear full throttle blast I will get the flashing check engine light, only once has it kicked on and stayed solid though. Every time I check the code it's the P0300 for random misfire. Plugs are gapped at .028 per Whipple install manual.

Kit has been installed for almost 500 miles now and did not get any codes for first couple hundred miles. Any clue as to what could be causing it?

Using Whipple tune currently.

Yes, I've done two of them now. First one after install and then I did a second one after getting the code the first time.

if your on stock plugs, go one colder,

also try moving cylinder 3 plug to a different cylinder like 4, then move cylinder 3 coil to number 2

see if the problem follows

Just replace the plugs... I had an issue with misfires on the Brisk plugs... They are crap. Had 3 sets that were bad. Swapped to NGK and haven't had an issue yet

I had one go bad physically failing after paying almost 100.00 for them. Emailed the company with pics and never got a reply.

I'm on the supplied NGK plugs from the Whipple kit. Think I got a bad batch of plugs?

Like Terry said, swap the plugs around and see if the code changes to a different cylinder. If it does, that's the bad plug.

It's not cylinder specific though. That's where I'm lost at.

Any plug you could potentially have an issue with. I like the brisk due to the tip design, between our 11 and 15, i would venture we are in the neighborhood of 350-400 1/4 passes over the last 6 years and have never had a brisk fail on me at the track or street.

our 2011 is probably making 2000 or so at the crank
