yep. especially if its an auto car, you can get by without a stall.

and having 600ft lbs on the launch is great, but if you dont have the tire for it, its just spinning.

You make it seem like if someone slaps on a centri on an otherwise stock car that it will be slower than before the boost. But as the very first response just proved otherwise, I wouldn't call an 8 second car a turd because its lack of a stall.

Will a stall help? Sure. Will a 700rwhp car be a turd without one? Heck no. But then again so will many other things like cams, ported heads, intake manifolds etc.

Back in the days of 3 speeds automatics with huge differences between gears and donkey cams yeah a car would be a turd with the stock converter.

When you're making 500rwtq at 3000rpm and you have a close ratio 6 speed transmission I really doubt you'd be hard pressed to be in the wrong gear and needing more RPM.

What pulley, boost, RPM and gas were you running? Are you 3.55 or 3.15 gears?
