What options do I have? If I decide to keep my car over buying a gt350 I'm interested in twin turbos. Is anyone boosting the cobra jet manifold on the s550 platform? I'm at 507 NA currently, and if I decide to keep my car then I'm going to be going the FI route... Should I get back to stock and start from there or do I have room to work with what I have currently? Mods in sig...

I haven't seen many guys use the CJ with boost. I've read it can be difficult to seal with the oval opening...not sure how true that is. Most people seem to use the boss, probably because of cost.

Paxton! the little badass blower that could!

Id either do that or spend the money on suspension and maybe tickle it with a 100 shot and call it a day!

Look what WildHorse did with his nitrous setup.

I've seen his post and I'm not in to nitrous...I really like TT but I would consider a blower setup.

Sell me your cams haha, jk unless you do decide to remove them ;) I would vote for a paxton kit though as well, they are pretty sweet and can't beat it for the price. I have been looking into to FI lately but think I'm going to keep it simple with staying the NA route and focus on removing more weight. I also have FBO setup with cobra jet and love reving to the moon.

NightParade I'll keep you in mind for whatever direction I go. I'm going to drive a 350 this weekend then I'll decide if I'm buying a new 350 or keeping my GT and adding more power. I'm still not completely sold on going the FI route but I'm very interested in looking into it for sure. Just wondering if I need to go back to stock and go from there or if it would be best to work with what I've got

Sell the CJ and grab a Paxton. If you can do E85 that is priority 1. If not add the B302 intake, keep the big pulley on, and enjoy.

If you have E85.. 850whp is cake (stock mani, DW95's/ID1050x or higher, Sai Li fuel system or larger)

Also, the CJ+Boost isn't so much about the intake handling it, it's moreso about it fitting. Paxton/Vortech require modification (risers) to work with the CJ. Procharger should be a bolt & go. Sealing the coupler is really just a matter of using quality clamps.

I'd grab a paxton as well.. I was in the same shoes as you. I went to the dealer, test drove a GT350 and was ready to sign the papers. Until a buddy let me drive his paxton mustang.. My decision was set in stone and I got a Paxton the next week lol

GT350 is an amazing car but I've never looked back since I got a blower. I'm pushing 670whp with nothing more then a catback and a blower. I have no other performance mods!

No you won't. 1 3/4 is plenty of header to make more power than the stock block will handle.

Thanks. I was always under the impression 1 7/8" was the only way to go with FI
