2 in 1 foglights

Stealing this from a chap on facebook who managed to find these, claims they fit the Mustang. and they're straight bolt in jobs.

A lot have been asking about "fog LEDs" and not just the stock DRL rubbish, well, turns out these fit both the stock DRL AND THE FOG LIGHT. So both become LEDs.

They should in theory straight connect up to the stock location and stock wires and work off the DRLs and the Fogs.

I think someone on here (UK section) has them (or similar) fitted, but can't recall who. I don't think they are quite 'plug n play' though, especially looking at the image...

I think they did, or it was a Euro folk... They look good to be honest!

You may have sent the wrong link... Or be thinking of something different, the DRLs and Foglights are in the lower fog circles on the Mustang (s550.1 as 550.2 is different). This replacement does both DRL AND foglight to LED, whereas others replacing have just lost the DRL and put them back into the stock location for the US mustang (Like like, in the headlight in the gills)

EDIT: They bolt up to the stock location, but will require some extra cabling (they work off their own module)

I just changed the Fog light bulbs to LED at the same time as the DRL's. Came as part of kit with all of the LED bulbs from Aus on eBay. Think I had interior lights, DRL, Front fogs, front side lights & rear reversing bulbs. Look good but do not project as much light as standard fog light bulbs. All straight swap though- cheated and got Modurstang to fit when Undersealing the car.

I'm getting these osrams fitted at Ford Epsom tomorrow. Will report in on how it goes

Chap i was on about on FB already did them, it's a 3 bolt off job, can DIY it you're a bit of a mod nut like myself. :lol:

I wanted some recourse if they went wrong and besides, is an excuse for a drive!

I had them installed at Ford, which was worth its weight in Gold, as the one of the units had a fault and they spent 3hrs fault finding and then replaced them FOC.

So buying the units from Ford and having Ford fit them isnt the worst idea.

Although the lights are very simple DIY to install, they require their own cabling and power supply etc.
