We get it... You don't like Lund tunes. You had a bad experience with them. You don't need to keep reminding everyone!

There are a number of members currently going through the process of flashing a Lund tune and getting revisions from Lund to suit the Australian conditions and vehicles. How about we wait and see results from these people and assess the suitability of Lund tunes for Australian vehicles based on their outcomes?

In the interest of full disclosure, yes I am one of those members.
This thread has nothing to do with Lund it has to do with Streetfighter. Which I actually praised what they are doing. Streetfighter are a safer option as they are local which is why they would be governed by Australian Consumer Law. That is something that anyone should take into account when buying locally vs overseas. Whether that be from Lund / Diablo Sport or and other overseas company.

I'm surprised you haven't accused me of being a Streetfighter fanboy now?

Seriously you have some literacy issues :headbonk:

I am well aware that this thread is not about Lund. However when someone else mentioned Lund you still took that opportunity to have your say on them.

I did note that you were nothing but positive about streetfighter and it is good to see you supporting the local guys.

And loving the personal attack... Keep them coming :)

I think I am In for this once someone else has tried r :)

Assuming this can be tailored to a 3 inch cat back with airbox?
I am with you on this too Melbnut....just waiting for the guinea pig to give the thumbs up and I will be in on this.
Nice to see an Aussie vendor giving us similar equipment that the USA owners get, tailored for us and at a comparable price.

Because stasik quoted me and came up with Lund, when this whole post is about Streetfighter and what they can provide. So it was not just a mere unrelated mention.

Saying you have literacy issues is not a personal attack it is the truth. You clearly did not follow the discourse.

You are clearly just a troll Mr Miller, best of luck to you.

Do I need to do some data logging and send it back to you to finalise the tune for my car or whatever is preloaded in the device is what I get and I need to pay extra for a custom tune? Can you also explained the process for a optional custom tune?

I am very interested in this as well if the above can be confirmed. If this tune can be slightly configured for a 3 inch cat back (magnaflow) and a CAI (airaid), I'm probably in.

We have an extensive data bank of tunes developed in our factory on dyno for Australian GT V8 and Ecoboost Mustangs.
These tunes include all combinations of vehicles that are standard, cat back only, full system, and air intakes.
We also cover 95 and 98 octane tunes along with auto and manual combinations.

All we need is your vehicle model and transmission type.
If it is standard or currant upgrades you have.

We will supply the 3 exact tunes to suit;
98 Octane Fuel - Performance Tune
95 Octane Fuel - Economy/performance Tune
Valet Tune ( does not rev over 4000 rpm)

If existing Streetfighter nGauge customers decide to upgrade further at a later date we can email out a re-calibrated the tune to suit for $75.

That's fantastic! Able to upgrade tune as you do any changes for reasonable cost and presumably no down time - absolute gold.

Actually means there's no reason to delay, very smart David.

Expect a call soon...

I'm not sure I have this right so I'm seeking clarification, not making a statement....
If we go direct with Lund they analyse the datalog/s once the tune is installed and adjust as necessary to get the best tuning result, which may take a few goes?
Streetfighter send out one tune based on what is closest to the advised mustang setup and that's it, no further custom adjustments based on datalogs?

No criticism implied or intended, just want to get it straight b4 I jump either way.

This is exactly what I want to know. One of the biggest selling points of Lund tune is they can make fine adjustments based on the logged data to maximise the performance for each individual car. That is why they have very good reviews back in the states comparing to traditional canned tunes.

I am fine with the fact that the streetfighter offers a canned tune version of lund tune here for most of the common mods. The only issue is if we decide to go with a aftermarket part or a particular combination of parts which is not in your database . Do you have the ability to offer a custom tune based on the data logs we have remotely and are we still eligible to contact Lund for a remote tune?

David will be able to better answer this no doubt but:
From what he's staying here, it seems like he isn't offering a "revisions" package in the same sense that his competitors are.
Not knocking the product. I think it's great that the option is available.
Generally you'll find that the Ngauge will be locked to a particular tune provider, in this case SF. If that's incorrect David, please clarify. Cheers.

No problem on receiving data logging for analysis.
This would be more of a sign off for the tunes advertised rather than a means to further improve the tune.

The difference between our Streetfighter tunes and imported tunes is that we develop specifically for Australian conditions and fuels on all the most common set ups..
The tunes are physically developed here, not re-calibrated by data-logging to accommodate Australian conditions.
We have been utilizing our tunes Australia wide for over a year now into all our Streetfighter specialist workshops.
Streetfighter tunes have all been developed and checked on dyno in every corner of Australia therefore all our n Gauge tunes are proven.
However we have no problem in checking data logging to confirm all is spot on.
We will definitely require data-logging for any upgrade combinations with non developed tunes.
The other advantage is we are on direct email and phone for immediate support.
