285/40/18 square for the last 10k miles and I love it. My only recommendation would be to use the least amount of spacer you can get away with up front.

I'm running a 285/35/19 +35 square on a 19x10. No problems what so ever. I actually want to go bigger on my next set.

I need new tires and the Firestone Indy 500's are at the top of my list. I am currently running a square PP 19x9.5 setup with 5mm spacers up front. Does anybody know if 285/35/19's will clear with this setup??

FWIW...I plan to install BMR springs in the very near future.

Yes it will clear, and still will with BMR springs. Great choice of tires.
