Most definetely! But never would have imagined it was so bad.
Fun thing is the front bumper, still like brand new.

I regret not doing a protective film as well. Got 14k kms on it in the last 5 months, and I have a bunch of nasty looking paint chips. The paint seems really fragile. I was thinking about a respray as well but I decided against it since I will probably sell the car next year.

After 2+ years and 23000KM I still feel the same about the paint... it's terribly thin & sensitive! Even with properly washing it and C-quartz coatings alike I'm done with it. My next move will be a another polish/paint correction, repairing all the rock-chips, scratches and scuff marks. After that I will put a Raail Airwrap on it in black and glossy clear and forget about it for the time it lasts. Raail is a pro version of plastidip yet I haven't seen much mustangs in it so far but sure looks better than plastidip.

I'm using the best protection: dirt!
I have only washed my car 3 or 4 times in 2 years\36k kms, and the paint is still perfect

Here's som research for you MakStang, it's a Pro version (smooth) of plastidip, meanwhile I found a few others as well like Halo EFX. It's all similar like a vinyl wrap but sprayed on in several layers with clear on top. Also the difference with plastidip is that it's fuel resistance, on drop of fuel on a plastidip and it's ruined.

There are only a few forum members who used it so far, 1 of them is the the camo RTR ecoboost, but can't seem to find his build thread and name anymore.

Anyone seen the 2018 EU prices published yet? I read somewhere they were set for release on the 11th.

How bad does it have to get before it becomes a warranty/insurance issue ? There has to be a point where you could hold Ford accountable for a poor product right ?

Personally only seen evidence of bad paint on that one GT350 I saw, but if that's any indication of all the others they can't be seriously selling this.

Too bad issues with the paint can be related to usage of the car so they can always blame bad roads, unlucky situations etc.

So guess they'll get away with this one :(

Nothing on the German site; and "my" dealer back home has no info yet -- or at least he tells me so.
