I'm thinking of adding the phase 1 Roush 670hp supercharger to my 16 GT PP 6 speed, which is my daily driver. Does anyone who DD's their supercharged Mustang have any feed back? My car seems primarily highway driving.

How's the driveability? Is the fuel economy much worse? Any hiccups with the roush included tune?

Can anyone share their pros and cons?

Thanks

I DD the phase 2. get an aftermarket tune as the roush one sucks. other than that, its been smooth sailing.

All the blowers properly tuned drive like a factory car when you're not on the throttle hard. MPGs are not for those with 700hp cars..

even my "your car needs a revision" car gets 20mpg on the highway and doing some pulls.

when just cruising around town and stuff its pretty close to factory but not quite. hard to get a huge throttle body to act like a factory one.

youre fine. plenty of people do it. if you do go TVS, go with VMP G2R. best one out there.

How much HP you making? I have a roush calibration but not for long, since I till tune with SCT for a 93 oct tune and race fuel tune as well.

Honestly my roush tune is not that bad, considering that my car did 640 rwhp and drives as any other DD. Just wondering what differences you had between calibrations.

Roush Phase 1 is rock solid. If installed at a dealership or designated shop you'll have warranty. Zero drivability issues.

Con - The tune leaves a lot on the table.

If you are going dealer installed and not messing with the tune I don't see why you wouldn't have the Ford blower installed. Save the $999 on the Roush warranty.

I have the roush phase 1 and installed it myself did not pay the for the 999 dollat roush warranty. With the roush tune you will NOT break anything 100 percent safe abd zero issues. Roush has finally dialed in their tune no issues. I have 6 k miles since roushcharged. I may go with a Lund tune in the future to get more out of her

657whp so not much more but i went a little conservative on the tune. however, i was having a weird surging issue and few other quirks that were worked out instantly after switching tunes. the overall driving was just much better after roush tune.
