All said and done it took a whole day for both lights. I could probably do it in 4 hours now. Not that I'm ever going through that again. So time wise how long did each headlight take? Seems like if you went into it knowing that each light would take you an hour it might not be that bad.
Everything I've seen points to silicon of that windshield stuff. I was my car yesterday with no issues. i guess time will tell. If I get condensation, I will just add additional silicone.BEAUTIFUL!
Thanks for the DIY, I can't wait to do this on mine.
Is there a sure fire method to sealing the housing properly?
Prokit. It would probably run the steeda progressive springs now, but they weren't available at the time.looks fantastic. what springs are you on?
Good luck, and just be pacient.Thank you so much for this post. It's going to be my weekend project as I just got in my diode dynamics. And needed a good review in order to save time and money. I hope I don't break my headlights.
Yeah v8venom keeps telling me to just get it professionally installed. But I don't know if I can wait 10 days without headlights lolGood luck, and just be pacient.
That was my problem. I needed to get it done while my bumper was off and I couldn't wait 10 days.Yeah v8venom keeps telling me to just get it professionally installed. But I don't know if I can wait 10 days without headlights lol
I don't think so, but I didn't try it. You have to heat the glue to get it plyable.Heating the headlight??!!...couldn't a metal separation tool be heated instead?
