Help!! Noise after rxt install.

Had a local shop install a mcleod rxt and the next day it's making this sound. Car has 13k mikes. Barton hybrid 3 was installed at the same time. Could it be the shifter and not the clutch?

Does it go away when you press the clutch?

Does it increase with RPMs?

No the sound stays under all conditions. Clutch in and out, in gear and out of gear. It doesn't seem to get louder at rpm either but thats hard to tell over exhaust.

That's very unlikely coming from just the shifter...I mean there's nothing much in there moving to cause that kind of noise, especially just sitting idling.

Almost sounds like a metallic squeak, something must be rubbing or binding to make that noise. I would assume it's got something to do with the clutch install.

what flywheel did you use?
