Looking into purchasing this so my transmission doesn't explode when I add my LPF twin turbo kit. Transmission rebuild includes:

STAGE 3 REBUILD KIT

STAGE 3 KIT includes:

HD 26 spline input shaft

HD 2nd gear

HD 1/2 synchronizer assembly

8 - Bronze fork pads

Bronze shift stop bushing

2 - 1/2 synchronizer ring packs

2 - 3/4 synchronizer ring packs

2 - 5/6 synchronizer rings

1 - Reverse synchronizer ring

Snap ring kit (4 snap rings)

Front seal

Cluster gear plug

Output shaft seal

Any idea how much power this could hold with a good clutch?

I haven't the slightest idea but where are you buying those parts?

JMHO, but have you looked into a T56 XL swap?

I have, but being a college student who has already spent $8,000 + payments on my car, I'm not sure if i could pull off a t56 for a while with the new clutch, driveshaft, install etc

I have no idea what you'd be spending doing that to the MT82, but in the long run, you'd be glad you have the best toploader shifting trans available. You'd also gain from having the aluminum DS, opt for the lightened steel flywheel, and several clutch choices. JPC seems to be the place. I get not having the $$$. I'm not a college student but have two teenagers, house, wife, so forth and so on. I can't afford one, just drooling for now.
I work at dealerships, so a friend and I pulled my T56 from my 99 Z28 years back and I had it overhauled using D&D parts for $500. What a difference that made. I had bent the 1-2 shift fork.
