I've been reading about how delicate the hood release lever is.
Does anyone have instructions on safely removing it that they can share?

Yes, we heard the request from the market & made our own billet aluminum hood latch - it has been a great seller!

Under installation info - you can see how to remove & install the Steeda unit.

Let me know if I can help assist ... you can email me at [email protected].

Best Regards,

TJ

I got the Steeda hood release lever and love it. It was very easy to install, < 5 minutes. Now I don't have to baby that cheap, flimsy plastic lever. When the S550 was first released, we had lots of people coming on the forum complaining that they broke that lever. As soon as Steeda released it, I was all over it!

Very nice piece, but damn $45... Hopefully Steeda has a nice sale on black Friday.
