Probably! He looked like that sort of insufferable middle management type.

Its scary how fast such a small car can go. 0-60 is actually identical, hovering around 4.5 to 5s. Same with 1/4 mile - around 13~13.5s (though the mustang has a higher trap speed and is consistently the faster car). Even so, quick car is quick!
I own an M135 as well as a Mustang and have run 13.0 at 109mph at Santa Pod. I reckon the auto Bimmer would be ahead......just.......at all speed ranges. However, against an auto Mustang using the paddles, I think it would be fairly even. The Bimmer would leave the Mustang for dead cross country and the ZF auto box is brilliant. However, although not as all round capable, the Mustang is way more fun. The sound is addictive and I much prefer the Ford!

The Mustang should def beat a 135i and 235i, otherwise that's disappointing. I would hope the 'stang might even give an M2 a good run for its money.

I'm not beamer fan, but it's a M135I. 135i will do a 0-60 in the 10's, a M series will drop it in under 5. Easily dispatching the Ecoboost, but not the GT, it's marginal.

Expect his orange peel paint finish slowed him down. Mustang paint is vastly superior to recent BM's I've seen.

Just looked at mine this morning - then off to a job in the Mondeo.

I think you're a bit out there, maybe a 120d will do it in around 10, but a normal 135i will be almost identical to the M135i

Exactly. An 135i has 306hp in a straight 6.
I currently drive a 120d Coupe (177hp) and a 0-60 run takes me slightly less than 8 secs.

The EcoBoost has to beat it, but not in less than 6 secs I guess...

Got my stats from a dodgey link, ignore it lol.
"The slowest car in the entire 1-series range manages the 0-62mph sprint in 10.4 seconds. Top spec M135i can dispatch it in a rapid 4.9." -> http://www.evo.co.uk/bmw/1-series

I know Fk all about beamers other than the I8 looks the nuts, and M series are the only ones that deserve any respect. (As for their Drivers, don't get me started)

Ah, you need to be careful here as you're giving credence to those that will say the only Mustang that deserve respect are the GTs, and that's not true at all ;)

However :focus:

So far today I looked at mine before going to work. I'm currently looking at it on the camera in my garage. It's still there, which is nice.

I intend looking at changing the emblems later however that was also yesterday's plan and went for a drive instead :headbang:

M135i is a quick car. The auto model will do 4.8s to 60mph over and over, just like the V8 GT auto will.

Us with manuals, well a bad launch and your looking at 5.5-6ss

My mate has an M135i remapped, M4 diff with the auto box and launch control is very interesting, hits 60 in about 4s flat everytime, they aint slow. But to drive I find it a bit boring, it lacks character, Mustang everytime. :)

Now that's pretty I don't intend to be doing much 'showing the engine off' but i've got experience painting, so may or may not do it as a side project with some spray cans.... I've got the ecoboost not the gt ;)
