Was it difficult to take the whole bumper off? Any tips before I do it?

Sock, I am interested as well. Also some detailed pictures of it would be awesome!

Actually a lot of people sell grilles now, but this is a DIY section and a DIY post. Really don't need vendors wandering over pimping their wares in every post.

I would love to see more detailed pictures of people cutting their own grill deletes, and a how-to from some enterprising soul would be awesome.

My post was not an attempt to "Pimp", more to educate. Running a completely open grill can be detrimental to your a/c condenser. I apologize if anyone else is put off by me posting in this tread.

The bigger diameter the cutting wheel the easier it is to make a straight cut. A 3 1/2 inch cutoff wheel an air angle grinder seems to work best for me.

I have an extra GT grill laying around and I'm think about doing this. I like the mesh that racemesh uses. It looks a bit thicker. Has anyone tried doing their own mesh? if so what mesh did you use and how did you bond it to the grill?

I received my hex grill today. The grill looks great. And there customer service was top notch. Definitely worth it.
