Yeah its a rocket ship, its faster in the wet than the Mustang was in the dry in straight line, its absolutely bonkers. Too easy though!

Sorry, John, missed this until you PM’d me. I got the CJPP which come without sticky. I used 3M VHB. Stuck the tape to the extensions, then peeled off the (red) backing and stuck to the levers. Do it in plenty of light to make sure they are lined up
Don’t think it matters to be honest which way round the tape goes but it’s easier to stick to the extensions first.

That's comparing it to when the Mustang had 500HP too, just grips from a standstill and DSG is seamless.

Probably going to be another £2K Saab for me ... that will probably be quicker than the EB. :/

My winter/daily hack is a leggy Diesel Volvo auto last washed in summer of 2015 so I’m quite jealous of gibbos new Uber golf.... even with its Cheshire Range Rover sport mirror covers.

Looks so bloated as to pass for a VW Beetle.

My winter car is a MX5. Think I’m doing it wrong :lol:

Drove it for the last time... to the dealers to sell....

A great summer to remember in the Mustang, but sadly it was just not the right car for the next few years.

Thanks to everyone for the advice and support, this is a great forum.

Sadly, it looks like I may have to trade this car in. Problems have started springing up out of nowhere.

2017 alone I've had the following:

• Breakdown
• Called in for fire hazard (separate to the wire-loom recall)
• Rattles
• Left headlight flickering
• Power steering going funny and squeaking around dead centre
• Front left control arm and ball joint needs replacing (happening Monday after five weeks of waiting for a tiny, cheap part)
• The dashboard screaming at me because the Airbags have developed a fault! :eyebulge:

I've had my fun with it, and I'll be extremely sad to see him go but the build quality is atrocious. The airbags were the final nail in the coffin because that's critical safety equipment. I'll be flogging it in the coming weeks for a used Jaguar XE-S or Mercedes C43 AMG, or (if I can get a good deal) a new Kia Stinger GT-S as the order books have just opened.

Sad, sad times. :(
