Quick question, when installing the steeds spring do you use the white plastic part from the stock spring or install without the white peice? Sorry, I am mechanically challenged!

No. The white spacer is for the dual spring system from the factory. Use only the upper and lower seats

All set TJ! Much improved action as well. The clutch is a lot more enjoyable with the steeda spring in place of the factory spring. Thanks all!
Glad to hear it ... I will pass along the great feedback!

Best Regards,

TJ

Car has been parked for the last 10 days w/ tender and cover. After warm up did a freeway on ramp 15-80 mph. 1 to 2 steeda spring flew out and went under gas. Latter today I will get under the pedals to see what is up.

Probably wasn't seated all the way to the left?

I seem to be in the minority with some of these mods. I installed the Steeda spring today. I prefer the stock feel. If anyone wants it PM me.

Sometimes ... the upgrades are not for everyone.

Hopefully the next mod suits you a little better!

Ok, I'll start it,,,,,,,,,, I like the feel %100 to NO spring at all. I kept the factory one just to keep, the Steeda one went in the dumpster.
I wanted to edit this by saying that the Steeda Spring wasn't bad, they make great products for our cars. it just still felt incredibly numb to me.

Actually the clutch feel and feedback are much better with the Steeda spring. If my left knee didn't have 50 years of clutching wear and tear I would love it, as would 99% of everyone else. Even though the increase in pedal effort is minor I'd rather have minimal pedal pressure with vagueness and get a few more years out of my knee.

I just placed my order for the spring. Does it come with instructions? Or a link to an install video, etc.?
