Fantastic news, if we can spec the carbon / alcantara interior that is nothing but fantastic. :)

It's not RHD though is it. Plenty of time to mess it up.

Europe got options we didn't get in 2015.

No cock ups this time!
Thank you Ford! :)

[ame]

That is a RHD UK/Oz export model, the keen will spot as confirmed in the OP but as can be seen as standard:
- Performance Package
- Michelin PS4S tyres
- 10-speed auto
- Digital dash
- Active exhaust
- Hood vents
- Rear clear lights
- Rear faux cap decklid :(
- Upgraded premium interior, could spot the addition leather in video
- MY18 seems to have a modified/larger induction tube
- New aweful UFO engine cover, that can go right to the bin. :D
- Handbrake still on wrong side
- Hard to tell from video but expect heated wheel as standard

It is pretty fabulous news for RHD export market! :)

Still yet to confirm:
- Bodged headers or not?
- Recaro option?
- Carbon option, is it full, so seats/door cards are part leather/alcantara?
- Wheel options?

But were getting a much better deal than last time round, the only downside is were not getting the same value for money unless Ford UK pull another blinder on price for the early adopters.

Doubt current engine covers will fit, apparently going to look like a mess under there with wires and tubes and shiz....!

Engine bay looks BMWish now

I've never heard so much total BS guys, all that is changed is the engine cover! Yes the new cover looks pants!

And all you hipocrits complaining about it and how it looks like a modern BMW, yet you all leave those plastic covers in to make your engine run hotter and add weight. Hey some of you are so crazy you add more weight by painting them. ;)

Remove the cover, it looks just like the current car under the hood with no cover, which in my view is a better view seeing an engine than plastic covers. :)

Does it? Because i could of sworn i saw a video where it looked totally different under there.

EDIT: video was from pre production car being shown of what someone "predicted" the engine cover to look like (That ex tuner guy who does the videos on mustangs and such)

P.s haven't you still got your valve covers on... painted in blue might i add :lol::lol::lol:

I put vents on to remove heat too ;)!

Forget the 2018...how about that F1

Seriously though, a superb job by Ford on this I think. They have changed it enough to be exciting & different over the current model but not too much.

Any news of the tribars? I thought that was confirmed.

Really hope they get the price right and keep that value for money aspect.

I wonder how well informed the dealers are of this exciting and important news?

Nope its more or less identical under there. Apart from now there is less vacuum lines, but there is still an engine, the same engine, in the same place it once was. Its still running the same intake setup, albeit with a modified induction tube with one less vacuum. Same coolant tank, in short engine covers removed they look similar.

Valve covers are not painted, they are proper official genuine FRPP items, they weigh next to nothing and add 9.99HP per bank as they are in Ford Performance Blue, Ford tell me this is the one true fastest colour, why its no longer offered as people can't handle it.

Coil covers hide coil packs, wires and add a nice look, but the engine cover hides the lovely manifold, the top of the engine which is nice and cool too look at, well if you've got a V8 anyway.

Even better if you have one of those mega expensive intake manifolds from Roush or Whipple.
