10-12 days? What can they possibly do with it for that long?
Have you told them not to spray all the bottom with black paint like we have seen in other threads?
I spoke to my dealership yesterday and told them i want to see the car before pre delivery and he reckons the pd guys dont like anyone going there? What do you guys think about that?

Just went and spent way too much at super cheap auto on maguires products!

That's very odd. I dropped my plate holder and catch can into the dealer this morning. CEVA still shows as not moved (I expect sunday or monday) and they have confimed that I will have the car this friday (barring defects and transport delays). So they are holding onto the car for about 3 days all up by my calculation.

The dealers don't do that, it's done at the factory so you won't have a choice in the matter. I can live with that as long as the overspray isn't on anything visible normally.

Re going to the pre delivery yard, tell them you're the customer and don't really care what they like and that you're not asking, just informing them. I'm going to turn up unannounced as soon as I see the car is there.

I told them I'm buying a Ranger today. The sale is theirs if the price is competitive and the Mustang delivery goes well. We'll see how much that motivates them.

Yeah I doubt they'll keep it that long, just what he said. Maybe he was annoyed that I was dealing with another salesman on the Ranger but as I said, he never got back to me so I didn't bother asking for him when I got there. He wasn't the original salesman on the Mustang anyway, just the one who appears to be handling it now.

Mine was delivered with a small amount of overspray on the grey trim behind the rear wheels, but my detailer made short work of it.

Tarago docked at 7.30am this morning.

I must admit, since it got to Brisbane, I haven't bothered too much with the boat!

Just checked CEVA. car's booked to arrive at the dealer on Wednesday!!!

can't believe it's so close; feels a bit surreal.

CEVA updated overnight - delivery into Canberra for my car now put back to 4 May.

Yeah and mine put back to the 3rd.

Yes mine has been put back to 4 May for delivery to Bathurst

Wow - you got lucky!

I ticked over 12 months on the weekend and still nothing from the dealer about delivery... have just emailed him now.
