LMstang, I waited till the power pack was installed. Its pretty tight quarters in that area and it would probably get in their way.

2morrow, I assume Ford Performance will do everything they can not to put out an update. I figure any update would have to go through the whole "Carb" compliant BS, probably costly and time consuming. Let's keep calling them and asking for an update!

Ford installed mine. I notice a thump at shutoff, sounds like the throttle body closing. I don't have any ping issue. I haven't had a chance to drive it much though... Ford also took my FRP Oil catcher off saying it wouldn't fit with the kit. I haven't looked at it yet, has anyone had trouble getting this on?

FP Oil Catcher

It fits, it's just tight :) I wonder if you have the correct one? I believe the GT requires the passenger side configuration.

So voting in the poll requires one to have this mod, right? Voting no should come with a reason, right?
So the guy who voted no for the automatic, Dr. Norts, can you expand on your negative vote?
Sorry if I missed it...
lol, the original poster of the poll hasn't installed the kit.

And havent voted yet. Was trying to get FP to update their tune. Not happening.

I'm gonna install it this weekend. Just put on the oil separator so hoping that helps with the pinging.

It would make sense if they had setups based on US altitudes and fuel based on zones. Other email tunes allow you to datalog to fine tune to your specific area for those reasons. Good luck with the package.

I finally got the time to install the PP2 this weekend. It was an easy and fun install.

As you can see the FP Air/Oil separator fits...barely. I'm going to replace the "T" fitting with a "Y" fitting so that I can get the cover back on.

Some mental notes that I noticed:

Very noticeable power increase by the butt dyno as well as a change in pitch/tone of the exhaust.

Noticeable Rev-Hang. Really not the hugest deal as I have a manual. After thinking about it for a bit I think I can use this to compliment my
driving style on-track. It also has a VERY sensitive throttle now. Much more so than previous. There were no pings, no CEL's.

Over a nice mod and I voted as such. I can't wait to drive it more and take it out to the track!

I was surprised by that. I have the automatic version, and it is great! No problems whatsoever, and significantly more power and much quicker in both regular and Sport+ settings. Maybe it's in the install??

2morrow, any reason you're not using the cover or never had it to begin with?

I’ll definitely put it back on. I just didn’t want to notch it.

I found that if I replace the “T” fitting with a “Y” fitting to the evap. lines I can create more space under the cover.

In for pics of that and end result with cover back on. I don't want to notch mine either.

BTW, backordered on Levittown until end of May :(, ordered on 4.27.17.
