Today I recieved my Touring Edition Catback Exhaust from AWE. Think I was installing this 30 minutes after UPS dropped it off. It was 6 weeks since I placed my order. Install was easy, and perfect fit. Drove a little bit when I was done. It sounds soo good. A nice and deep rumble from the rear, and not obnoxious loud inside the car. I'm so ready for some tunnel fun now...

We could easily try in the Lux event. UPR says '5 minute install' on their website, but it's more like 5 seconds. So we could easily try to fit mine if you'd like.

Edit: do you need to remove the strut brace for an oil change?

I've read that some od the users had a lot of oil traces on the engine after that, but might be from users that do not have a catch can. Would be interesting to follow that on yours.

Was that in the GT section? Cause in the EB section is basically the opposite. It happened with other brands that offered this kind of product, but not with the UPR one. Anyway, so far no oil (I'm gonna be so pissed if the engine bay's full of oil) :D

Another thing worth mentioning: changed plugs after 15000. And I noticed the car's running noticeably smoother. Everything else's exactly the same. Ignition correction improved in all 4 cylinders as well.

I cannot remember where but I saw 1 or 2 remarks for the UPR one but those were probably exceptions.

Ah interesting with the plugs I am at 16k km you would change them?

Diode Dynamics Switchback LED Boards

New mod done, Diode Dynamics switchback LED Boards installed on my car

1. Cut a hole in the light

2. Place the Boards inside the light and secure everything with glue

3. Seal the cut-out with a good sealant

I put a lot of glue to be sure that everything is really well sealed :D

4. The finsih view

Diode Dynamics Swichtback boards + Coplus sequential light

Second mod I did that took a long time to finish. Long story short.
The light comes only with sequential turn light and a single white LED for parking use. I needed a DRL function, parking light function, and a switchback function. Sadly, they said they can't do that, so I figured to do it myself and it turns out really good :headbang:

Now the turn signal light is all the time white with bright white for DRL ! :headbang: :D

What you need :
- Sequential front turn signal light from Coplus
- 3w LED chips
- Power supply converter from DC12v to DC3,3V
- Switchback modul for DRL and Parking light use

Here few pictures from the turn signal light installed on my car :

Here's a video of the tri-bars + turn signal light in action :

Cheers guys

I must admit that this coplus sequential is not bad at all, of course because of your mod :D
Now you have to write a tutorial on how to add white drl leds and switchback function to it!!

It's this easy? I notice there are pins there, are these EU specific? I find it odd that the led boards didn't have cutouts to fit perfectly on these...

How did you secure the other end of the boards, I can't see you getting that black goo up there... (and what glue did you use?)
