The pp has a different master and booster???

The new 10 speed auto will be the auto to have at the track, quicker shifts in all situations!!!

No it does not upset the car, certainly less than a manual.
On my track day, I tried out everything.

One combo that worked well was

1. Shift to Sport mode for the twisty sections and back straight.
2. Downshift with the paddle into corners.
3. Shift back to D coming out of the lead-on turn before the long main straight.

This way the upshifts are great when you floor it on the main straight. Then switch back to S when braking for turn 1. Then paddles for full manual control. Then back to full auto on the main straight again. Shifts at redline at the perfect time.
