MRT

- unknown if outs designed for base our performance pack

Does anyone know of any other splitter options that are the same look (with the struts)??? If so, please post them up.

I love the APR, but I am nervous about the durability of the carbon fiber. Has anyone bottomed out with one yet? Bumped a curb?'

If anyone has any feedback on them, please share.

Thanks!

Do any of these work with the Roush fascia?

As for the APR splitter, there's a guy in my club who does regular track days, has one. Anyway, his splitter went up against a curb. Literally stopped his car dead and the only damage was the rubber/plastic thing that goes around the edge. Splitter did not crack or anything of the sort. The APR CF splitter is as durable as it's gonna get.

I think Steeda also has a splitter. Doesn't seem to come with struts.

JLT makes a ducting kit for brake cooling. I have that and the ARP going on my car when we finish the engine build up.
The link also references a Full Tilt Boogie kit which looks tasty.

Not going to be as cheap, but Hillbank Motorsports can custom fabricate one and their design has the rods adhering to the frame rather than just the bumper. Extremely cool to see in person and functional IF you race.

THAT is good info! The connecting rods are a joke.

I'll just put my input, i went with the APR cuz it was the only one at the time that had the profile i wanted. Didn't really want CF cuz of the chance of hitting it, but now i'm totally happy with the cf helped me carry a theme. But i haven't hit it once scrapped once when i first got it backing out of a coworkers driveway. Previous car was low so i'm accustomed to approaching at angles. And yea the do cover the brake portions of the belly pan. I'm putting on the JLT ducts soon, want it for looks too.

I also didn't like the chrome/stainless steel shiny look so i found these rods, they look similar to the Boss 302 Laguna Seca hardware

Few factors in deciding,
- is material important (plastic/abs being more durable to scrapes and impacts, only slightly more, apr quality is top notch),
- cost a factor,
- custom profile (some of the smaller compaines can custom cut to your desired dimentions

That looks SO awesome with the darker rods. My biggest complaint about these splitters were those.

I won't be running the struts. More of a function over form guy. I built my car for track work, and that's what it'll do.

yeah they look good on certain cars, but i blacked out all my chrome. My backup plan was to set apr stainless steel ones to the length i wanted and get them powder coated.

The longacre ones have more substantial posts/mounts appearance wise

here is different angle of the posts/rods

I added Steeda to the original post. Thanks for the apr feedback, glad to hear that! I'm lowered with steeda linear springs, so I'm just worried that with a simple driveway or parking entrance it will crack, but I don't have any experience with carbon fiber or apr.

JoeySprez also lowered on steeda ultralite linears. The APR is a solid piece of layered CF, if you do get it you'll be pleasantly surprised of the quality of craftsmanship
