We just took delivery of our 2018 Mustang GT. We are eager to open it up & start the next chapter in our product development for the street, track & drag strip!

Why would they waste 4k when they produce their own suspension parts?

Every other shop and tuner so far went with PP and they will likely replace most of the parts also.

Not really. Just another place that changes out parts, only difference is they design more of them in house. Same thing though, either way they are likely to remove most the PP parts like any other shop would. That fact doesn't change.

May be a bit bias though as nearly everything I've ever tried to buy from Steeda ended up a returns nightmare, not fitting right or taking so long to arrive I canceled the order. I think the clutch quadrant is the only thing I got from them that worked well, and I got that free from a Mach1 Forum user.


They are to me the nightmare that AM seems to be to others.

Very nice! I pick up my 18 5.0 Kona/black accent package this wednesday. I'm stripping my STEEDA STB, CAI and tune off my trade-in 15 5.0 today.
I'm assuming the CAI will fit the 18 with a different rubber coupler and the STB will cover the ugly new engine cover. Can you confirm?

Its an automatic & its for drag development vs. track development.

Also, besides the brakes on the PP car, we recommend replacing all the parts with Steeda parts

Are you speaking of LMR, AM and tuners etc.....? That is a little different than a shop the manufactures their own suspension parts.

Some other are also taking any car that they find in stock to be the first out of the gate with the car and footage.

I ordered my car so I got it exactly how I wanted it. The performance pack is not the deal it once was but I wanted the better diff, 3:73s, and the brakes. Yes I could have installed them myself but this was easier. The other parts I will probably replace, the wheels lasted two days. If I were doing a drag development I would have ordered it exactly like Steeda did.

Just a quick note we are going to document this vehicle all through the stages of upgrades.

Plus, we want the evolment of the 6g members as well with suggestions.

Also, we want this project for everyone to relate to and consist of bolt on parts that you can afford.

Must have ordered this in July, you probably got one of the few GTs with the 051A wheels before they took them off the order guide.
