Roush Heat Extractors

I’ve been looking at these for a while. The local dealership where I get service also has a Roush division. There were a couple of used Roush’s where the corner of the extractor was lifting which is something that bothered me. I finally ordered a set and found the two halves are held together with 6 screws and double sided tape on the exterior touch points. I removed the screws and gently pulled the two halves apart. I now understand why the front corner lifts as the double sided tape releases over time. I stripped the double sided tape off and cleaned them up with alcohol. I’ll put them back together with amazing auto goop and clamp them and then prep them for paint.
