I suppose I would say that, other than the golf R you are looking at modified "older" cars -for instance any N54 engine BMW is going back the best part of 10 years. The difference between the interior of the N54 series cars and the Mustang is chalk and cheese -and not necessarily in BMW's favour.
Secondly, almost all of the cars in that list deliver power differently than the Coyote engine -much more grunt down low and relatively little up high -the opposite of the Coyote. it depends on where you like to feel the punch.
An re the Golf R, after the traffic light drag, you are still just driving a Golf. No thanks.
The Mustang is the cheapest performance car I have owned in nearly 20 years, but in some strange way maybe the most fun. The thing I have realised for me personally, is that every car I have owned has not been perfect, enjoy them for 2 or 3 years and then do something different.
