Got the pony back after a week at Dan's. Opticoat 9H paint protection done and GT350 Strips done. Apologies for the quality of pics, they don't do justice to the quality of work done.
Are you happy with the 9H? It's what I think I'll go for in the end here in Brisbane.

Yes. its pretty good. Had the first wash last weekend post the coat. The water just slide over the coat. Drove the car for a bit and all the water was gone. :)

Sold mine today. Sad to see it go, but change of circumstances meant that it wasn't practical for me. I loved the time that I had with it.

Keep enjoying yours. If you all don't mind, I'll keep an eye on this forum and contribute.
Really sad to hear that. Once a pony owner always a pony owner.

Thank you.

Believe me I am sad too. I hate to admit it but I did cry a little as I saw if driven away. I really loved that car and OMG the paintwork was perfect. Lots of effort went into it, but sadly now it's a memory.

I hope to come back into the fold sometime. I just couldn't justify keeping the car, having got a company car.

That will look awsome Greig. Are you having them painted in Grabber Blue? That will look really cool with the bkack text as contrast. I am not putting the strut brace now, I just like the clean look of the motor now that I have the painted plenum cover.
Yes Allan, I will get them in Grabber Blue, the blacked out badges and JLT arrived the other day. Just waiting on the exhaust to arrive.

I passed a bit more time waiting for my pony to make its way to the port by making some further preparations. Today I ordered:

Boot mat that will match the floor mats I've already picked up
FPR oil-air separator

That'll have to do me for a bit as I finalised my gnome spare tyre on the weekend.

Tomorrow actually - my left arm has been in a bionic brace for the past 5 weeks after shoulder surgery, the GT only has 2200klm on it.

Heading to Sydney via Bathurst tomorrow (approx 800 klm) stopping for the 3000klm service then heading into Sydney on Friday for an appt with the surgeon, then driving home Sat arvo/evening.

Looking forward to the seat time :headbang:

Cheers

J
