Been hearing a weird creek from the back-left of my car. I don't know how long its been there but its damn annoying now.

Only noticeable if I'm in a drive through where the sound echos, or If I try really hard to hear it (and I've been doing that too much lately).

If i tap the gas and give the car a slight jerk in 1st or 2nd gear; thats when you hear it most. After that, my cars too loud to hear it.

Anyone know what it might be?

rear half shaft nut coming loose

BMR started a whole thread on it.
I have got mine replaced twice already on the d/s, it comes loose after a couple months

Mine is creaking, even after I checked the nut (took about 1/4 turn to get to 150 ft-lbs).

I know my bearing is going - I can wobble the wheel a bit when it's off the ground. Haven't brought it in yet....

Bring it in and let me know what they say, is your car dropped or on factory springs? I wonder if they'll give me a hard time lol

32mm socket required.
Also would recommend you take a permanent marker and mark it to see if it backs out after some driving.

I just noticed you had to get it replaced. Do you think Loctite could solve the issue?
