Speaker Max Depths That Fit?

Does anyone know what the maximum speaker depth that will fit in our doors for the 6.5" and 3.5" is?
What is the max diameter tweeter size for the A-pillar?

Tweeter is 1" - but 1" isn't always 1" :(
Dayton AMT Mini-8 1" fit perfectly inside the stock location, but Polk db1001 1" don't fit at all unless you mount in place of the grille and do some grinding.

My Rockford t1 components fit perfect including the tweeter. I didn't have to modify the a pillar at all. Now I'm looking into replacing the 6.5s that came with the components to actual subs, but I'm not sure which ones will fit.

What model? The only one I can find is the "Rockford Fosgate T165-S T1 Power 6.5-Inch Component Speaker System"

I ended up buying Hertz Mille MPK Pro 163.3 for the front and Mille MPX 165.3 for the back.

Yea those are it. I think they're like 350$ but if you look around you can find them cheaper. I believe I paid $200 for mine new.

What's the max width for the tweeters?

Just thought I'd let everyone know that the Hertz Mille MPK Pro 163.3 fit in the door without any issues. The tweeters fit in the A-pillar in the stock location behind the plastic molding. Tweeters are 1.14" in diameter.

It seems that the 1.14" measurement is for the diaphragm of the tweeter, not the size of the housing itself. The housing measures out to 1.61" correct? Thanks for passing along your experience, I think I may be able to fit a set of Morel Elate Ti 603s after all.
