Unable to open trunk. Trunk light is showing trunk open on dash

There is a key hole beside the back seat you can use to key open the boot, as verts at least can't fold seats down.

I run a dog leash thru the back seats attached to the emergency release inside the trunk, I've been otherwise stuck and not able to open it either.

ANy more details on this? Im assuming both camera and trunk release may be on the same harness? My camera stopped working early i never bothered to fix it. now the trunk wont release :shrug:

Where exactly is this key hole? My trunk just stopped opening today and I have the vert. Tail lights flash and I can hear a click from the glovebox area, but no pop from the trunk.

Nevermind, found it and trunk still didn't open.
