Having had my tranny out twice for clutch issues, I figured out a trick to make things easier. The clutch line is easy to disconnect from the transmission; it's really hard to reconnect. The problem is once it's disconnected, there isn't enough slack to reconnect it with the tranny hanging down. If you jack the transmission back up into place, there isn't enough room for your hand...
The trick to making this a snap is to disconnect the line where it connects at the top (a bracket off the vacuum booster). Now the line will have enough slack to connect at the bottom.
When the rear mount is put back on the trans (or if you jack up the trans) the top connection is a snap (literally).
This would be a good time to go sound tube delete...
