MT82 cars on slicks. What is your launch RPM with the GT 350 manifold? Also what RPM have you found is the best shift point?
Thanks in advance!

5500-6000rpm launch depending on track condition. Shifting between 7500-7800.

I find the best times come from 7800 shift points. Launching is a bit trickier than with the stock mani, I have radials and never side step the clutch and I don't like to tow my shit home but best 60' with the GT350 mani is 1.70 slipping it around 5500 or so.

Yessir. I did consistent 1.65 sixty foots with the stock mani using launch control but with the new mani, 4500 isn't enough.
Launch control with drag radials? On a GT?

Yes, it has launch control, its a PP car. Its works pretty good at the track with radials.
Good to know that it works well with drag radials.

I am trying to decide whether to go drag radials or bias ply. While I prefer the simplicity of a drag radial setup, I want to get as consistent at the track as possible. I don't really care about the ET as much as winning rounds.

I have all winter to think about it, for now I am going to try my brother's Nittos off his 2003 Mach 1 and see what that can yield before winter.

If you are after consistency go with a bias ply tire. Drag radials on a stick car are difficult. It is a fine line between good launch, bog and wheel hop. I had nto5r on my stock PP wheels and was able to run multiple 11.6-11.8 at 118 mph. I went 11.40 at 118 on slicks.

The only issue with the bias ply is that I also need front skinnies bias ply to go with them. That would mean 4 swaps at the track. Might be worth it.

The last time I went to the track I drove down on the skinnies and put the slicks on once I got down there. The car handled fine at posted speed limit speeds. I'm probably gonna switch to MT ET street R bias ply so I don't have to swap anything at the track. I ran drag radials on all my other cars and I am really enjoying running slicks/bias ply now that I'm use to them!:)
