For those who've not seen my first thread, I hurt my back and can't use a clutch anymore. :( CLICK HERE.

Year: 2017
Make/Model: FORD MUSTANG GT
Trim: Performance Pack
Color: Magnetic Grey
Transmission: Manual (The only reason I have to sell.)
Mileage: 925 miles. (Yep, that's it. Stays in the garage.)
Modifications: None, except a set of CJ Pony Parts spacers I put on only a few weeks ago. (See last picture.)
Additional Info: I've never red-lined it. It's my "baby" and I've treated it that way.
PRICE: $35,000 (Wish I'd paid that for it. Make me a reasonable offer.)
Contact: Dave (843-609-5788)

It hurts, literally, to sell this car. I bought it to keep forever and my lower back injury has forced me to sell.

The car is spotless!

I've never owned a car that people, literally, stop and take pictures of. It's amazing!

...and why does every Challenger owner want to race?! I just smile and say, "No." :D

I think these forums are good. Use Craigslist and Facebook Marketplace too. I think those three will help out. It comes down to price too. 2018 are coming out so guys are excited about those. 2017 are $6000-$7000 off new. Plus the time of year going into winter for much of US.

IIRC Cars.com offers free ads. Maybe other national sites?

Specialty forums are the best first stop.
Also try:
ListingAllCars
AutoTrader
TrueCar
CarFax
eBay (with/without reserve...)
Consignment through local dealers

It all boils down to timing, pricing, patience, and persistence. You'll have to shell out a few hundred $$ to market it on some of the online sites, but you'll land a buyer eventually.

Best of luck with the sale, and best wishes with your recovery from back pain!!

It may be a tough sell at that price. I bought a Magnetic '17 GT w/Perf Pack but w/o leather or Navigation for $30,400 3 weeks ago. I would love to have those 2 options that yours has though. There are some great deals on '17s now.But all it takes is the right buyer for yours.GLWS

Beginning to wonder if the sell vs. purchase price would be so far off that...

...it would just be cheaper (??) to install an automatic transmission.

Thoughts??

(At least I'd be able to keep the car.)

Maybe list that you're open to trades for an auto with similar options. Sorry to see you having to go this route.

Have you considered trading it? I have always sold my cars outright because the stealers rarely give actual value. But I traded a 3 month-old EB for my GT w/PP. I agreed on a price and THEN said I wanted to trade and they gave my what I paid for the EB 3 months earlier. Just another avenue for you to consider.

I would not swap out the trans unless I found someone who has done exactly that more than once with good success.

A used automatic tranny would cost 2k before labor.
I guess you could sell the manual to offset the cost.

Trade it on in on a '18 PP w/Auto...just shop around till you find a dealer that will give you a good price. Join the national Mustang club to get X-Plan for a guaranteed price on the new one.
I paid about 35K for my NEW '16 PP and the only difference in equipment between yours and mine is I have the Shaker audio and no backup sensors oh and mine is Red.
