Advanced --> manage attachments --> browse --> mustang.jpg 3.6mb fails to upload.

Just one specific picture, but its new? All the other jpgs load fine. Nothing special about that picture.

JPGs are limited to 2.1MB. Please size down and try uploading again. To see all of the file type size limitations, once you click on "Manage Attachments" scroll down in the popup window.

That is just how it displays on the forum. The images still need to be within the size limitations to be uploaded.

Ok, thanks.

Is there an easy way to downsize a file?

Any of the stock image editors on Mac or Windows will allow you to change the image size. Change it to 1400x1200 resolution (or under) and you should be able to upload it to the forum.
