Thank button missing

I wanted to Thank a post but the thank button was missing. The post I wanted to thank happened to quote something I had said; just mentioning it in case the bug is related to that type of situation.

I doubt the thank button will be missing when others see the post but to help debugging.....

Interesting. After I posted here, I went back and NOW the thank button is there.

No. Plus I could see a Thank button on other posts in the thread.

I now suspect its some background task involved that hadn't gotten around to activating a Thank button on the post. There are some processes like that. For instance if you edit a post that others had thanked, their thanks will disappear for a while than re-appear.
