Don't ruin my dream so soon!!!

Sure, the Bullitt looks to be a cert......'18MY 50th Anniversary and all that.............but I'm NOT giving up on a '19MY 50th Anniversary Mach 1 :headbang:
Still hoping for a Voodoo based 5.2 CPC........
Maybe Multiport and Direct Injected with 12:1 Compression.
If this works out to be true, Ford will be getting my money.

Someone else mentioned a 5.4 for the Mach 1 in another thread......or was that you, too? :ninja: :D

It would be cool......but I thought 5.2 was pretty much as big as anything Coyote-based can get? (again, I'm only getting that from others on this forum :) )

Problem is......Mach 1 rumours have gone very quiet :(

^^^^ Wow. That is an awesome machine. But if those labor hours were done by a shop that has to be a $200k restoration. Wish I had the means to mod the hell out of stuff and then sell it for 1/2 off.

No, someone before me mentioned it. If we keep bringing it up often enough Ford might do it :D

Max is 5.3 but plasma coated bores would get us over the line. A good recipe for 500hp and 455ft-lb.

Weisco and RGR(possibly working together, I forgot) have built 5.8l(351ci) Coyote engines. Sleeved block, not plasma sprayed.

I do remember Wiseco's efforts but not sure if it ever came to fruition. I just looked up RGR and they do in fact advertise a 5.6 litre.

JPC/RGR built a 5.8 Coyote that is currently being used by some record holding drag car. I'll try to dig up who it was but IIRC they are running 7's in the 1/4 with lots of turbo. Lots and lots of turbo.
