The right? There are no laws or regulations that I know of that can exempt you from paying the 60k CO2 emissions tax (aka BPM) for a car like this. Sure, there's the 'grijs kenteken', but that can only be applied on company transport vans. So basically your employer has to pay this tax and is giving this to you as a present? I wonder how that would work and not screw you over royally in the income tax department. The car's catalog value (which includes the VAT and BPM) counts towards your income. Unless maybe your employer would be paying that too, but why on earth would your employer pay almost 200k to get you a car? However im in the lucky position (via my employer) that I have the right to purchase and run one car completely tax free...

Don't get me wrong, it's an amazing deal. Question is, if there actually IS a legal way to not pay the tax in any shape or form, why isn't everyone abusing this to get V8 sports cars via this route?
I assume thats probably touched a nerve, which is understandable. These rules are typical political bullshit rules, "not for ordinary people". Same as foreign companies hardly have to pay tax here. Stupid shit, made up by politicians who like to have some nice paying job with added benefits after they leave office.
Sure thing. Don't get me wrong, I don't blame you for taking the amazing deal. I just hate politicians in general who make up all this nonsense. I mean how does the CO2 tax help anyway? Oh wow, a tiny speck on the world doesn't drive V8's. Woo hoo, global warming averted! :clap2:I assume thats probably touched a nerve, which is understandable.
(... snip ...)
I hope we can draw a line under that..... this is a car forum after all, not a political one
