That would probably handle nicer, as the RS5 was the V8 one I drove so the previous generation I believe, was around 2012 if I remember.
it handled fine (i don't really push handing much and i dont track my cars either) i got my cheap thrills from acceleration, which i guess is where the mustang lacks for me.

they updated the rs5 to a v6 engine last month i think

Has anyone ever done a comparison between tune + stock intake and same tune with aftermarket intake? I wonder if 99% of the gains come from the tune only.
I have JLT intake and Lund tune and the difference was night and day vs stock but not sure how much of that difference is made by the intake.

A few days to a week is normal for the initial tune.

Revisions come much quicker.

ta,

thought it would have been the reverse as the tunes, i assume, are essentially just off the shelf at this stage based on the mods you have.

Tune finally arrive, whohoo - will try it out later.

just on a side note - for the datalogging for revisions, do i need to drive the car in any particular way / do any particular things to create relevant datalogs for the revision?

From memory, full gas pull through 3rd 4th and possibly 5th. Then a bit of normal driving with throttle applications etc.

So you will need to be on a quiet A road or mway really.

Ask Gibbo as he has done a few. From memory it's WOT in 3rd at around 2.5k revs

They told me to get the car warm, start log with car idling when warm. Get 2 minutes of idle, a few minutes of normal driving and then 3 x WOT pulls in 3rd from 2,500 to redline (7,200?)

Not everyone is in close proximity to the autobahn :).

What does the car top out at in 3rd?

Average speed cameras, I'm not tuned yet though so it'll be a little while before I need to worry.
