Wheels!

For those of you who upgraded the OEM wheels to concave style rims - what brand/model did you choose? Post a picture of your horseshoes!

I'm looking for some inspiration - While I like the look of Velgen VMB8 in Gunmetal, I can't bring myself to fork 3K for them (5K with a set of Michelin pilot sports) especially being cast wheel (Don't want to open a can of worms here though)

the way i see it is i spent 65 odd grand on a car i really want, whats 5k on wheels and tyres i really want.

Mrr M350 forged, still 19s a massive upgrade over the stock wheels, I was interested in velgen early on but I couldn't justify the cost for cast either.

I think I will be going with vs forged / stance wheels through Paul in the USA

Have a look at the Shelby Venoms, 20" forged and the Ferrada F8 also 20" and also forged. Both have the correct offset for tyre clearance internally and at the fenders.

These are so far better than stock (I have the Ferrada's) but aren't cheap, but as previously mentioned you spent 65K for a bargain performance car that needs some upgrades, one of the most important is better tyres and then the wheels to match.

I really like the look of the Venoms!

Alas, some of us also have newborns and spend more time driving around in a SUV than the Mustang. If I spend 5K on the car, and not the baby right now, I'll be sleeping in the back yard for a few weeks

Yes I could understand that. they are an extravagance no doubt!

My wife and I argue about new wheels on our car every day. I think I can swing her for about $3000 wheel and tyre package. Those Koya wheels for $2000(ish) (wheels only) might get me home. Or Ozzy tyres for some Stance wheels and tyres, looks like under $3000. Now Bronze or brushed Titanium?

Babies?

I got Forgestar CF5V in 20x9.5 +30 and 20x11 +55. Super happy with them. Just installed coilovers, so it's even lower now than it is here, looks amazing
