So I promised people that I would coyote swap my ecoboost , I completed that. Now I'm on to my next promise that I would build my own turbo setup. This will be about a two - three month process for me as work a lot. So far I have completed the bracket to hold the turbo. Welded on v band flanges to the stock headers and completed one up pipe. :ford:

Please keep the negative comments out of this post. I know its not economical or easy to do and there are kits available. I just simply like building stuff on my own.

Wowzers!! I'm impressed with your skills at fabrication and welding. I dabble in that as well, but you my man have had some experience I see. Thanks for posting this here, and I look forward to your progress. Keep the pics coming please.

Power to you man! I've never understood the hate. It's one thing to "build it" using kits. I appreciate just about any car with anything hand created!

I will never understand why people care if someone else decides to build their car a certain way. I appreciate our sponsors and aftermarket in general, but seeing what other people can create on their own is far more interesting. I wanna see where this goes.

ok, I got my up pipes done today minus waste gates. I ran one bank to one side of the divided flange to keep it true divided. I was going to run a single 66mm wastegate but might change my plans to dual 40mm due to space and best location.

Too cool, man. Reminds of when I spent everyday of my existence on turbomustangs.com (which changed to the turboforums). So much good info and a new custom turbo build every day. Good times and best of luck!

Looking good. Are you getting to put the exhaust through the hood?
No lol it will be routed back to the tail pipes. However I did want to use electric cutouts to exit the front bumper on both sides.:D
