Easily. '17 Premiums go for that amount now. At least in CA.

Magneride is an option isn't it? Is the manual transmission different as well?

I believe it's an option on the PP correct? So you have to get the PP before you can get the MagRide.

I am going to guess with Premium, PP, Magride, Digital dash you are going to be in the high 40's ... getting very close to $50K

My 16' GT Premium sticker was $45,000. I'm sure the new options will put it around $50k or more.

'17 GT Premium with everything but Recaros in my area was 43k. I wouldn't be surprised to see this loaded up in the high 40s.

My loaded out '15 GTPP stickered at 43K. I expect the sticker on a loaded '18 GTPP to be 45-50K. I'd be happy to be wrong about this.

Hopefully there will be rebates and discounts.

I just want a base GT + PP, Mag ride, Recaros, and the digital dash for around 40k. Hopefully these options are available together for that price.

If it hits 50k it probably won't sell very well. Chevy learned this the hard way. Once they started lowering the price to be more in line with the current Mustang, people started buying the Camaro. Eventually the pony car market will be 50k, Chevy tried it and failed miserably. Question will be if Ford tries the same approach? I think a loaded GT Premium with all the options and PP will be in the neighborhood of 48-49k.

To me the biggest thing going for the Mustang is the price. It is substantially cheaper model to model vs the Camaro currently. If you put them on similar grounds price wise, I think the Mustang loses the edge. I know for me personally if both were priced similarly for the same model/options, it would be a tough decision which one to go with.

You don't have to order every single option to have a good car. Price is somewhat up to you.

Car & Driver is reporting a $500-$1000 base price increase on the GT.
I'd guess a GT with PP2, Magnetic Shocks and Active Exhaust will sticker for $46k.

Yep 50k car being discounted to hell giving the customer a straight up horrible resale... If you're one of those types I suggest you buy used..
Buying new even if you magically got 10k knocked off you'd probably still be another 10-12k before you're on the downside
