Hi guys, this may seem a stupid question but I've spent a bit of time under the car but mostly looking at the suspension (because mods:headbang:)
I've recently acquired some UPR engine mounts (Steve was great btw) which I'll be fitting at the same time as my LT headers with a view to adding Whipple down the track.
According to other RHD Mustang owners, we need to lower the engine about 10mm (1/2") to make the Whipple fit properly (hence the purchase of the mounts)

The question is this:
What, if any issues am I likely to strike if I went lower (say 3/4")
I'm thinking lower CoG is a good thing, but what are the implications?
Am I missing something?

All advice appreciated.

The Kenne Bell kits come with billet 3/4" drop mounts.
I've been running the kit for almost a year now(at 10,000 miles currently) and have had no issue. I have Longtubes as well.

If anything lowering the engine makes the car smoother, the whole driveline seemed smoother in the car I drove with 1/2" lowered mounts and then yes you get COG benefits too. :)

same. i get a bit more NVH in the cabin because it is a solid mount and not the squishy factory one, but thats it.

Not totally sure. All reports from guys with RHD cars seem to indicate that there are clearance issues. LHD may be different.

? It's also a smaller case. I'm not going to bitch about upgraded motor mounts. They're stupid easy to swap
