You install these yourself? Seems like there is more than $9400 there.
Yep i do all my own installs. Everything in my sig was installed by me.

When you buy pretty much everything through beefcake you save big money lol

You ever considered taking the drive up to Fresno to let Whipple fix the car up once and for all? I would imagine they would work with you if your are having all these known issues.
I thought about it but, it would be nearly 6 hours drive without the traffic in LA, so thinking 7 hours. drive up there, don't know how long to straighten it all out, sitting at a hotel waiting to hear, then home, I could be up there a few days. I cant lose that much time in money from work. im not sure what im going to do right now. I don't know if I should even be driving it, but I have to go to work...

I have a UK RHD auto and Whipple stage 2 installed 2 months ago.

I had RHD problems with the kit when installing(fitted by specialist).I also had the belt chirp. It has an agricultural sound on startup when cold which surprises me.I had no hesitation problem though as car is auto.
I also think I expected too much performance wise ,the car is a lot quicker but not shockingly quicker as I had hoped for.The 825 hp as advertised needs much money to achieve and I am a way off of that. With the US/UK exchange rate problem and international shipping/OPG etc I am at about 12.5k Sterling (15k US) already.
When I also consider that my drivetrain warranty is now effectively lost(whipple extra warranty not available in UK) ,and a wife who has now lost interest in the project:frusty:,I am 50-50 if I would do it again.

I had issues when the dealer installed mine.... my Roush kit was the 1st installed on a 2015 auto in my area. I think the feedback from this website really helped provide me with a resolution. Even with the issues I experienced, I would do it again. I am addicted to the power. I daily mine now, but in a few years I may put it into weekend warrior status for fun outing to the dragstrip. The only other car I really want right now is a Tesla model s p100d. It'll be the new family car once the Mustang retires.

Paxton.. I do all my own work except tuning, and never regret any of it.

I did this...did everything first drivetrain, suspension, wheels tires then added the power. Wouldn't do it different if I did it again. Only regret I have is I was NA until 6800 miles on the car....thats 6800 miles of smiles i didn't get to have,

I agree with this assessment, to be fair I haven't finished yet. I put in Aluminum DS, Pro-action shocks/springs, BMR lock out kit, upgraded Sways etc before contemplating installing my paxton.

For manual guys what about clutches. When do you say it's time to replace. When stock burns out or before you install FI.

Waiting for my stock one to kick the bucket. Which so far with a little under 2000 miles of supercharged fun and almost 5000 miles on the car it's still holding just fine.

I finished my Vortech install at the end of October and had to put the car up winter shortly thereafter. Since I couldn't drive it anyway, I went ahead and upgraded to an RXT and MGW this winter so I hopefully don't have any issues once good weather returns in the Spring.

Hard to say if I regret my Whipple. It is the most powerful car I have ever owned, calm as a cucumber when you want it to be and an animal with the push of the pedal. But the car is at home and the engine is in the shop locked up tight with less than 10k on the car. It is a hard pill to swallow... but you have to pay to play.

Love this thread as the negatives (which are rarely mentioned) are coming out!

Makes me think, if it's not FI from the factory, don't do it.
