Went to Atco tonight. I got tired of slapping 6th Gen Camaros around. Found a Zo6. Cool guy. Not afraid to run, Said he'd race anybody!. First race I red light. -019! Automatic win for the Corvette. To make matters worse. He caught me about 60 feet before the finish line. And drove around me. He ran 11.14@128 to my 11.66@117 Second race I hit everything perfect. I cut a .024 light and out sixty the Zo6 By 3/10th. Even with a six car lead we we're fender to fender crossing the finish line. My margin of victory was .0541!!!
He ran 11.4 this time to my 11.6! I love a close race......When I win.:D Both races with the Vette were close as hell. Time slip below is of the second race.

Great runs! I just got a set of NT05r's and I can't wait to get back to the track. Last time out I only got in two runs with worn down Pirelli's. Went 12.3 at 115 with a 2.0 sixty on and off the throttle through 1st and second with no traction. Looking forward to a 1.6-7 sixty and full throttle into second gear. Hoping to see mid to low 11's at 120ish.

I never get tired of watching you and you wife kick people's ass on the launch. I bet there's a lot of initial shock factor for some of these more powerful cars you're dealing with.

Good job!!! It's good you got your runs in, the wind and dropping temperatures are on their way to you. Happening here right now.

11.4 is less than 11.6 - how is that a win for you?

Look at the timeslip posted. My reaction time was 3/10ths faster than the Zo6 driver. My sixty was 3/10s better than the Zo6. In drag racing. It's which car crosses the finish line first. Not which car had the best ET.

Nice runs! Always fun when it is a close race with the car in the other lane. Especially when it's a super expensive sports car! Makes the experience much more enjoyable than just regular test & tune. I used to enjoy beating up on vette's, GT-R's, and hellcats before I sold my GT500.... Never got old lol.

A lot more fun then gapping 14 second Hondas. Or guys that cant drive to save their lives in their GTs & SS's. If I see something fast. I like to line up with them. Most other guys go out of their way to avoid them..

So you simply left the line first. He still finished the quarter mile in less time than you.
