Bet that tune IS related. Remove it from the car, and try again. I have heard some tunes have locked this out, but most of them do not.
You are correct. FORScan is not compatible with my Tune. So I have restored the factory tune and everything worked fine. Once I'm done I'll re-install the tune.

A big thank you to everyone who has contributed to this thread.

Just did the red splash screen, and added the transmission temp gauge.

Which is the correct code to stop the double-honk on a 2016 Tech pack car? I see the following instructions, but neither are for Tech. Which will work?
BCM 726-41-02 0000 0001 0172 No Horn Exit When Running 2016 Track
BCM 726-41-02 0001 0001 0173 Double Horn Exit When Running 2016 Track
BCM 726-41-02 0000 0000 0070 No Horn Exit When Running 2017 Conv
BCM 726-41-02 0001 0000 0071 Double Horn Exit When Running 2017 Conv

Also, what's the likelihood that we'll be able to figure out how to set the default exhaust setting to Sport?

Thanks to all who've made this such a great thread!

My 16 Tech car showed the 0071 digits, I programmed for the 16 Track Pack 0072 and it works fine.

That's what I would have thought. I'd still like to see what numbers he has now.

Connection Issues

Well since I messed up knee I had some time to play with this over the weekend. I got my laptop to connect to OBD MX that is listed on here one time. I wanted to go double check what I was doing so I left and came back and I could never get it to connect again. I deleted the ODB from my laptop and tried to re add it and it will not even connect now. I reset the OBD and multiple restarts on my laptop and nothing. I tried 3 different laptops and when I can get the OBD added on my laptop I still get the ELM error, not sure what else to try. Any other tricks I can try that anyone might know? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Not sure if you're connecting through blue tooth or wifi, but I had to hit the reset button on the OBD and refresh the blue tooth connection on my lap top a few times to get it to connect.

Sorry forgot to mention I was connecting through bluetooth. Yes I tried that multiple times with no luck. Just don't get why it connected once and now never again..

You're not crazy. The car DOES do this to aide in smooth driving for non-drivers. It is very annoying, I noticed it from day one. This is turned off in the engine calibration, not with Forscan. A tuner can do this for you.

On the older fords this was called dashpot function.

Anyone know if the code for turning off the 'sound enhancement' would be different on a 2017 R?

Thanks!
I used the As-Built setting that I found in the GT350 thread for my GT PP and passengers noticed right away. I have the GT 350 valence and Ford Racing exhaust on mine and didn't know if it would make a difference . It does. I had already removed the sound tube (which obviously yours doesn't have).

I haven't followed this thread much. I have 30 series tires and I'd like to possibly swap my rear gears. Will this allow me to correct my speedo or do I have to go with the whipple flare?
Thanks guys.
