So excuse my ignorance Paul, I'm try to learn as we go, lol. So your saying either way I'm going to catch the inner lip. How bad of a thing is this? Is there a way to avoid it entirely?

And where on the inside of the fender is the lip we are discussing (sorry if this is a stupid question) Is this on the inside of the fender closest to the outer fender or closer to the engine bay?

So the wheels are a 20x10 Et 42, you can easily spacer them out ( max 5 mm spacer), the 285 would probably catch the inner fender a tad bit more the the 275 brotha.

the 285 is wider and taller the the 275 so thats where the concern of catching would occur,

It would catch on the inside of the outter fender brotha when you air out, had a buddy that did it on wide tires ad creased his fenders.

So would using a 275 with a 5mm spacer be the same as using a 285 as it relates to possibly catching the lip?

Also, been looking at tires, I have found better pricing on 285/30's if I go that route. Thoughts on that profile? Being that I'll be on air, if I have to go with either a little taller or a little shorter than stock, which would be better?

I'd be interested in what you have to offer tire wise.

I was trying to stay under $200 a tire, which I know limits me greatly. I found some Sumitomos HTR Z III and Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3 that were decently priced. I was going to stay will a summer tire, but the Michelin reviews seem to indicate it has the best wet and dry traction in its class, but not so hot in snow or ice, which would not be an issue for me.

Feel free to PM me options and pricing.

Okay I need input from the square fitment pros before pulling the trigger...

This might be a tad aggressive, but will 19x10.75 +35 with 285/35s lowered on Sportlines clear the front strut or will I need a spacer?

Track setup:
18x10 +42 Forgestar CF5
275/40/18 Bridgestone Potenza RE-11
No spacer required to fit but am installing a 5mm to aid in using camber bolt to increase available negative camber from max of -1.3 to hopefully -2.0 for track handling.

Can someone please help me with figuring out the spacer size needed with a 19 X 8.5 ET 35 wheel to make it sit flush on a non-lowered car? I had 25 mm spacers on the stock 19 "wheel and interior package" wheels that came on the car. The fronts were pretty much flush and the rear tire bulge barely poked out of the fender well. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am running a 19x10 square on 285/35/19 Continental Extremes. Lowered on BMR Springs w/FRP Track Shocks/Struts.
This looks amazing.... Pretty much the look I want to get. I'm also on the BMR Performance (SP080) springs... damn.

Can I run 305/35/19 square on FRPP with 1.25' drop all around or is that not possible? And if not whats the largest square set-up for a ET35 TIRE?
