In 7 months of owning the '16 I am approaching 7K miles. I drive it every chance I get.

Then with the mods I had, I was always scared of windowing the block. I don't have $10-$20K laying around for a rebuild. The GT is a much more affordable..oh shit! kind of car.
THIS is my BIGGEST hang up. If I buy something that is not stone cold reliable that I can drive to Ocean city on a whim and park it for the day - my wife will not enjoy it.

Honestly, I plan on staying NA with this car and just doing LT's and cams eventually. But if the power itch ever comes back, then I will just jump on a VMP TVS and call it a day.

Oh, I'm sorry. Where did he mention he was going to drag or track the car? Oh, he didn't...

Who cares about 600hp when 99% of the people in this world can't push their car to the limit.

Agreed.

My '07 vert was pullied and tuned, but outside of being able to drift around corners on dry pavement with ease (which was a hoot) there was no using all that power. I was always scared of popping mine too. Cornered like a greased pig as well. Total penis car. I liked my '09 Bullitt more, actually.

I like my S550 much better than my GT500, far superior car and fully usable. Near the sweet spot in power. And if I ever blow it up it's cheap to fix.

If you can buy a new GT premium for $6K under MSRP it will not be that bad. People that paid $10K over on the 16 gt350 will take a Hugh it on trade today. Like $ 23K.
But the biggest one was the 09 KR $80K. 4 years later $45K. Some people paid $90K with adm and all.
Try to buy the expensive mustangs used IMO

I didn't get into the GT500 as much as my own car but when I drove a 13 GT500 I was honestly underwhelmed by it. I'd still love to have one but I think it's more of a 1/4 car than a cruiser/curve crusher. The interior is also bland looking (except the seats) after sitting inside of the S550.

Off topic, On Topic.

I never thought I'd spend more than 25k on a car.

15 gt pp who really needs more than this?
