Just got everything installed! The MPT tune worked perfectly with the 15+ TB! Could not get on it to much as it is wet and raining here but from what I was able to do the torque curve feels much flatter! This engine really came alive around 3k RPM with the stock TB. Now however power really comes on around 2k RPMs! So while I do not feel that I gained anything up top (wasn't expecting to) it has certainly effected the torque curve of the engine. Can't wait to try it out in dry weather!

Just saw one on EBay that is already to install. The guy drilled out the GT throttle body to the 3.7 size and used a 3.7 spacer with the center milled out to 80mm. I thought about this myself but wasn't sure if there was enough material to have enough left to seal a gasket. I also think he used a flat gasket. It's even got the bolts and coupler. So if we wanted we could buy a GT spacer and just have it re-drilled. I'd imagined it'd only work with the '11-'14 GT TB.
zackmd1 that sounds great. I've been waiting to hear the results from your updated tune.

Hello all,
So, let me get this straight. I have ordered the 11-14 gt throttle body. I also ordered the shapeway spacer/adapter. I also ordered the 4 inch 90 degree pipe and two 4 inch couplers. Is this whats needed? I know I have to get the clamps for the couplers. Anything I'm missing?

Thanks
Rika

Is it confirmed that the '15+ gt tb doesn't have enough material to move the holes 0.187" towards the center? I'm planning on buying a gt spacer and have both drilled.

This spacer in particular: http://www.ebay.com/itm/262412405696
It hasn't been confirmed or denied yet for the 15+ as far as drilling goes. It's just leaning towards the "might not work side" as it looks like there's much less material to work with.

Hey guys, i have ported intake manifolds on my car and i wanna know if a 14 gt TB will fit with the spacer linked in the first section will be basically bolt on like? and can someone clarify the shape of the pipe that's needed such has how long, and the degree for a stock factory box? I'm slowly, but surely going my way up to a custom turbo set up or SSM's stroker kit which was in the ginetta (if it can make 400ish BHP), might be that one, but I'm not sure.

I can confirm that it will not be possible to modify the 15+ TB. You would have to drill into the main body to get the correct spacing.

Are there 90 degree intake pipes that have the PCV hook ups? I see a bunch of options on Amazon, but I'm not sure I want to delete the PCV tubes and do breathers quite yet.

Its really not a huge deal...and very easy to change back to stock. Your not gunna find a proper pipe with the fittings on it
