Wow.. that looks amazing, Tom! I'm really glad everything went smoothly. Having the right tools sure helps! Let me know if your mechanic buddy needs another friend Lol.

Glad it all went smoothly! Looks nice a very clean and methodical install.

How hard was the modification/grinding on the timing cover?

Thanks guys!

Modifications weren't bad at all. Just took our time and followed the instructions closely. The material is pretty soft so it went quick.

What are your initial impressions of the NT05 tires with boost?

You will not regret it!

What are your initial impressions of the NT05 tires with boost?
Actually much better then I had anticipated. I thought I was going to immediately want to pick up some radials, but the NT05s hold up pretty good. Granted we're in CA and its dry and usually at least 60*. 2nd hooks up pretty good I'd say 70% of the time and I haven't felt much wheel spin in 3rd gear and higher. 1st is kinda useless. Still might pick up some NT555Rs or M/T ET SS once I turn it up or the NT05s start showing some wear.

Completed:

- UPR TVS Plug N Play Catch Can System - Billet Pro Series Check Valve Upgrade - Black
- UPR Billet Crankcase Breather Kit

Been driving the car quite a bit since the supercharger install and am still over the moon about the performance and the amount of fun I'm having. I've tinkered on quite a few different cars and nothing has gotten me this excited... Been keeping an eye on things and have nothing negative to report so far. Only real thing that's taken some getting used to is the throttle off idle. When starting from a standstill the throttle is quite sensitive and takes almost no input to get the car moving. Probably just a side effect of the much larger throttle body and tune.

Decided to finish off the system with a catch can and crankcase breather. I actually prefer the simplistic plumbing of the JLT TVS Catch Can System, but it doesn't take much research to find out that the UPR setup is higher quality and flat out works better. You can tell some time went into the design of this piece and every hose/fitting/machined piece is top notch.

Few photos....

One more lil guy to clean up the eye sore of the engine bay. Also considered the Mishimoto complete replacement, but I think this goes better with the blower degas bottle. Now to just sit tight and wait for the PMAS and JLT Intakes to be released :D

Right on, Tim! UPR definitely makes some good stuff. I can see why so many people only recommend them.
